What this site is trying to be
The goal is not to be an all-purpose design suite. It is to provide fast, understandable tools for the image tasks people repeat constantly: compression, format conversion, metadata privacy, social resizing and simple asset packaging.
The content side exists for the same reason. A tool page alone rarely answers when to choose JPG over PNG, how safe areas affect social graphics, or why metadata removal matters. The guides are there to make the tools easier to use well.
